The design of this holiday home by LAS is truly one of a kind. The Bay of Islands Retreat at Pipiroa Bay is breathtaking and we wanted to make sure the design of the house reflected that.
The house features 5 bedrooms all with views of the bay, allowing you to wake up to the sound of the waves and take in the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each with its own bathroom for added privacy and convenience.
The open plan living area is the heart of the house, with large windows and a picture window in the dining room that frames the stunning views. The kitchen is an entertainer's dream, with high-end appliances and plenty of space to cook and entertain guests. The kitchen leads out to the expansive decks that are covered with louvertec, perfect for enjoying the outdoors even on rainy days.
As you enter the house, you are greeted with open tread stairs with glass balustrade and a honed block wall that reaches to the upper level. The design is modern, with clean lines and natural materials such as wood and stone used throughout. The canter-levered dining area adds an architectural touch and creates the illusion that it is floating.
This was a special project for our team and we are thrilled with the final result. We wish the owners and their family many happy years in their new holiday home, surrounded by the stunning views and the sound of the waves. The location and the design of the home make it truly one of a kind, and it's a property that will be cherished for years to come.
