Testimonials

Dayle and the team have completed two projects for School of Fish (childcare centre).

  • The first being a significant redevelopment of a 1907 villa previously used as a rest home, this was a challenging project and the team done an excellent job redeveloping spaces suitable for a modern childcare while keeping the historic character and feel of the building.
  • Our second project was a new build with a twist, it had to reflect our brand and our existing centre. This saw the team design a timeless weatherboard building which provided very a very functional internal layout and again overflowed with character
  • Dayle’s experience is valuable during all parts of the design process, from ensuring concept designs have the best chance of gaining resource consent through to an innate understanding of all childcare standards.
  • Dayles experience allows the team to prepare designs and documentation (either “cost effectively” or “cheaper than anyone in the market”) while continuing to provide high quality environments. This experience also allows Dayle to provide advice/suggestions on other key design consultants and sees a timely turnaround of work
  • We would recommend Dayle & the team at LAS to anyone looking to design and build a childcare centre

Richard Taaffe - Owner School of Fish

We engaged with Dayle Beuth and his team to take us through the concept, design, resource consent and building consent phases of our purpose built modern childcare centre for 60 children.

Throughout our dealings with them we found Lifestyle to be very professional, easy to deal with, and very knowledgeable and informative on wider childcare regulations and specific building design issues that we greatly appreciated. On top of this they coordinated developments very well with our other engineers and planners engaged on the project.

We presented Lifestyle with some concept changes in our scope during the project design phase which Dayle dealt with in a collaborative and professional manner whilst informing us of options so as to optimise our intent and goals.

We have already recommended Lifestyle to other childcare centre owners and professionals in the sector and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for sound advice, knowledge and practical expertise in childcare building projects.

We engaged Dayle Beuth and the team at LifeStyle Architectural Services to design our new home.  What a refreshing and straightforward experience it has been!  Our brief was a challenging one to come up with a design for an attractive home and minor dwelling to suit our budget, site considerations, and cater for intergenerational living.  Dayle made it very simple for us.

With his experience and attention to detail Dayle was able to anticipate everything we needed and some things we hadn't thought of.  He applied lifetime design principles to ensure our investment will continue to be practical, enjoyable, and low maintenance for many years to come plus appreciate in value.  We liked how Dayle broke the design/build process into simple components and explained each stage.  He patiently listened to us and we felt he really understood our family's diverse needs - from preschool to teenagers to aged parents - then incorporated those ideas and brought them to life in the design.  Nothing was too hard for Dayle and his sense of humor certainly helped to dissipate inevitable stress in such a project.

We would highly recommend Dayle and the team at LifeStyle Architectural Services for anyone who is considering building or renovating and would like to enjoy the process!

New Home – Paul & Katrina Pickering 2014

Over the past eight months Dayle has been working on the design for my purpose built childcare centre. During this time I have found his approach to be very professional. I had been recommended Life Style Architectural Services by several people who had previous dealings with this company and Dayle himself. Both parties spoke very highly of Dayle and his experience in designing purpose built childcare centres. Dayle has not only done a fantastic job with the design but has also been a great help with the Resource Consent process.

I'm very happy with the work Dayle and his team have done for me. I have had numerous comments on the proposed concept, the functionality of the building and the stylish, yet practical design.

I would have no hesitation in recommending LifeStyle Architectural Services.

Childcare Renovation - Tony Hight, Director , Little People Ltd - North Shore, 2009

When I started my business Dayle Beuth and Bert de Graaf from LifeStyle Architectural Services came highly recommended because of the work they had done in designing Early Childhood Centres. The Knowledge they have in all aspects of Early Childhood Centres such as planning, licensing, fire, acoustics and traffic is outstanding.

LifeStyle does a good portion of the design work for our company. We mostly build larger complicated houses in the range of $500k up. Our customers are fairly demanding in terms of design and tend to want a piece of art. Bert and Dayle both have a good ability to sit with a customer, take a brief and in doing so get inside the clients head, learn exactly what the clients needs are. They then discuss budget and size with our sales people and come up with a great concept first time in most cases. The clients usually only make minor changes on working drawings, if any.

Bert and Dayle have designed both of our new show homes and these have been very demanding in terms of design guidelines from the developers of both subdivisions in Anselmi Ridge and Karaka Lakes. These are high quality subdivisions and required a great deal of thought and attention to detail to come up with designs to fit within the design guidelines and pass a review panel in Australia and New Zealand and at the same time do our company justice. In both cases they came up with outstanding designs.

The level of professionalism in the way they both run their company and the great flair they put into design will hold them in good stead in any circles.

Over the past year Dayle and his team have assisted Choice Kids to establish 3 new design and build childcare (ece) centres to meet our requirements and tight time frames.

Dayle has been able to add value to our projects with smart design ideas while working with us and incorporating our philosophy's which is really important to our team. His experience has made it possible for us to maximise the sites and achieve great outcomes for all 3 properties

The LAS team also controlled the building consent process and produced accurate plans of which our builders could build from, in effect making the process easy and keeping our build costs down and meaning we could open earlier.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Dayle Beuth at Life Style Architectural Services to design and manage your next childcare centre project.

Fuzo is a property consultant business that was formed with the two founding directors of Investor Developments, Ammon Acarapi and David Whitburn. Our customers are predominantly property investors, and many of these are repeat customers.

Lifestyle Architectural Services provide site evaluations and architectural plans for our residential investment products. I have worked with Bert & Dayle and their staff since 2003 and have found them to be talented & professional in their dealings with us and our customers.

Lifestyle Architectural Services are a great company to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to others.

Investor - Ammon Acarapi, Director

The team at Lifestyle Architectural Services turned our design ideas into granted building and resource consents. The whole process was simple and taken in small manageable steps turning our house dreams into a structure that is stylish, functional and tailor made for us. We had wished for a house to fulfill our needs and what we got was a place that our family is proud to call home. Thanks Lifestyle Architectural Services!

New Home - Les, Kaori & Kosei Mc Grath, 2009

The people at Lifestyle are great, their attention to detail ensures there are no hold ups once plans are lodged with council and their charges are reasonable. Their plans and documentation are clear and top quality. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

New Home - Calum MacLeod

For many years we have been building and developing residential houses for ourselves and others. Experienced in both planning and construction we choose to project manage most of the projects ourselves. We were recommended Lifestyle Architectural Services by a fellow developer. We engaged their serveices on a small subdivision and well havent looked back, since then we have built numerous homes from Lifestyle's plans and have now reached the point where they get all our work. The team at Lifestyle consistently prove themselves to provide fast and efficient turnarounds, quality product and prices that are very competitive. Now building up to 20 homes per year we are happy to have a reliable architect who knows what we want and works with us not against us.

Developers - Steve and Amy Anderson

In 2007 I contracted Lifestyle Architectural Services to design seven high quality homes for a new subdivision known as Vineyard Estate in Papakura. I worked closely with Dayle Beuth and Bert de Graaf who are the Directors of Lifestyle Architectural Services. What impressed me most about Dayle and Bert was that I only provided them with a photo of each of the houses I wanted designed. From these photos they produced design and accurate working drawings which I presented to Council for a building permit and subsequently for builders to build.  The drawings and documentation I received was excellent and at no stage did anyone have any problems at all with either the plans or documentation.  I would highly recommend Lifestyle Architectural Services to anybody wishing to design and build a new home or for any project both small or large. Dayle and Bert are not only very competent at their job they are also a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to use them for all my future work.

Tony Erceg - Vineyard Estate

I have worked with numerous designers over the last 20 years and have always been a firm believer in spreading my work around different companies. But since finding Dayle Beuth and Lifestyle Architectural Services I have struggled to take work elsewhere. Dayles ability to comprehend clients desires and turn them into reality is second to none. Furthermore he has a very unique ability in the industry to draw good looking homes that correspond to a client imposed budget and can actually be built!

I thoroughly recommend Dayle and his team to anyone looking to enhance their lifestyle through a custom designed home.

Brendan and I would like to thank both Bert and Rebecca for the work you did for us on our plans and getting the consent processed via Council. It has been great working with you both and nice to get a final result with very little hassle.

Renovation - Brendon & Amanda Stuart 2010

Not having needed the services of an architectural designer before, it was a search through the internet that had me come across Lifestyle Architectural Services Ltd.  After a few emails and a phone call I was impressed by the information and professional service I received, particularly when the job I needed done was only a simple set of "As Built" drawings.  The team at Lifestyle accommodated our needs by arranging the on site measure quickly, before our tenants moved into the house and within a week we had the drawings in hard and soft copy.  Everyone we have dealt with at Lifestyle Architectural Services has been professional and helpful.  We are now happy to be working with them again on a new project.
