We engaged with Dayle Beuth and his team to take us through the concept, design, resource consent and building consent phases of our purpose built modern childcare centre for 60 children.

We contracted Lifestyle Architectural in 2008 to provide the design and working drawings up to Building Consent for a large alteration to our home incorporating changes to the kitchen, dining, bathroom and laundry.

They talked to us about what we wanted, and what our likes and dislikes were, and listened to our ideas. They presented two concepts for us to consider - both of which were good. We were able to view the proposed alteration on a 3D presentation, which was a great help to us.

Once we had made the decision on which alternative to take, the documentation was done to a very high standard, and there were no holdups obtaining Building Consent.

Although after receiving the Building Consent our contract with Lifestyle was at an end, during the building phase, we talked to them a number of times to get ideas, and for help when the builder came across something totally unexpected. They were happy to help, and provided advice, and alternatives for us to sort out the problems.

We are extremely happy with the alteration, and absolutely love the feel of the house, now that we have made these changes. The new kitchen area is a joy to work in, and is now the hub of the house. The new part fits with the old part brilliantly so that you would think the house had always been that way.

When I started by business Dayle Beuth andBertde Graaffrom Lifestyle Architectural Services came highly recommended because of the work they had done in designing Early Childhood Centres. The Knowledge they have in all aspects of Early Childhood Centres such as planning, licensing, fire, acoustics and traffic is outstanding.

LifeStyle does a good portion of the design work for our company. We mostly build larger complicated houses in the range of $500k up. Our customers are fairly demanding in terms of design and tend to want a piece of art. Dayle and Bert both have a good ability to sit with a customer, take a brief and in doing so get inside the clients head, learn exactly what the clients needs are. They then discuss budget and size with our sales people and come up with a great concept first time in most cases. The clients usually only make minor changes on working drawings, if any.

Dayle andBerthave designed both of our new show homes and these have been very demanding in terms of design guidelines from the developers of both subdivisions in Anselmi Ridge andKarakaLakes. These are high quality subdivisions and required a great deal of thought and attention to detail to come up with designs to fit within the design guidelines and pass a review panel in Australia and NewZealand and at the same time do our company justice. In both cases they came up with outstanding designs.
