Early Childhood Education - 50 Child Centre
This architecturally designed (ECE) Early Learning Centre for 50 children has been recently completed. The ECE has been designed to current Ministry of Education (MOE) and Health Department regulations. We developed the ECE design from the early conceptual stages with the end user and they are excited that opening day is just around the corner.
The ECE has all the modern spaces required in today's centres to be able to meet the high standards the Ministry of Education set for licensing. From the open indoor play areas with our signature high studs and monopitch roof, highlite windows for cross ventilation and greater light through the centre.
Not only does this make for a more attractive design but also saves on heating and cooling bills which is all so important when running a ECE. There are separate play & sleep areas for all the children whose ages range from 0-1, 2-3 and 3 upwards. All areas lead out to an impressive outdoor play area which has been fully designed and landscaped to enhance the childrens experience. The large soffits and verandahs offer shade and cover where needed especially during the winter months.
During the design process we also wanted materials that would be durable while still be easy on the children so it was decided to use Linea with a combination of axon panel to break the building lines and intensify the depth of the building. Only our track record and experiencewith over 200 ECE centres and the Ministry of Education can prove that LifeStyle Architectural Services should be your designer of choice when thinking about your next project.
This is an architecturally designed child care centre (ECE) that we have been proud to work on over the past 2 years and wish the Counties Manukau Kindergarten Association all the best success. Further information about the services this centre provides can be seen on "www.cmka.org.nz"
